The City of Beavercreek combined efforts with the Mall at Fairfield Commons for 4th of July Fireworks in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and mass gathering restrictions. Prior to 2020, City of Beavercreek’s 4th of July Celebration has in recent years been held at Rotary Park, with a parade down Dayton-Xenia Road before the festivities at the park. Rotary Park activities typically include entertainment, food trucks, and inflatables prior to a fireworks display.
While Rotary Park’s even has been enjoyed by the community for many years, the 4th of July committee discovered several pros (and cons) to hosting the City’s Fireworks at the Mall at Fairfield Commons in 2020. The 4th of July committee is asking for the community’s feedback to help guide the planning for the 4th of July celebration in 2021 and beyond. We appreciate your feedback –this event is, after all, for the residents of Beavercreek!
