[ARCHIVED] Registration now open for Safety Town

BPD Safety Town

Registration for the Beavercreek Police Department's Safety Town is now open!

Safety Town is a four-day, interactive and educational experience for children entering kindergarten and first grade in the Beavercreek City Schools District. A morning and evening session will be held the week of June 14, 2021.

During this fun experience, Beavercreek Police Officers and guest speakers will provide age-appropriate instruction on various topics including traffic safety, pedestrian and bike safety, fire safety, poison prevention, safety around dogs, stranger awareness, school and bus safety, 911 usage, emergency preparedness, and gun safety.

Children will also get to enjoy the department's interactive miniature town by “driving” around the streets and walking along the sidewalks with crosswalks, stop signs, and traffic signals.

Your child/children will not want to miss this fun and engaging opportunity to become safety champions! Sessions will be filled on a first-come basis. Be sure to indicate your first and second choice of sessions on your registration form.

Class size is limited to 45 students per session and COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed.
