Photographs taken by members of the Greater Dayton Photography Group (GDPG) will be displayed at The Gallery at Lofino Plaza throughout the month of November.
GDPG started as a Facebook group in 2016 by Rodney Brown for local photographers to share ideas, techniques, and images. Since then, the group has grown to more than 600 members and has its own website.
GDPG members get together often to share photography tips with one another. They will create themed photography challenges to help encourage members to participate and challenge themselves.
The 2021 GDPG Photo Exhibition at The Gallery at Lofino Plaza, 3868 Dayton-Xenia Rd., is comprised of the top 20 photographs submitted by group members and carefully selected by judges. A reception will be held Thursday, November 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m.
