CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY IN BEAVERCREEK, OHIO

The 4th of July holiday is fast approaching.  Make plans to enjoy a fun-filled event for the whole family in Beavercreek, Ohio.  Festivities will be held on Wednesday, July 4th.

The Fourth of July parade will kick off the 2018 festivities with a 6:00 p.m. start time, traveling down Dayton-Xenia Road from Meadowbridge Road to the Beavercreek High School.  Dozens of parade participants have signed up to walk, drive, and show off their floats for this year’s event.

This year’s parade will be led by Grand Marshall, Brian Jarvis.  The Fourth of July Committee nominated and selected Brian after a review of his years of community service and contributions to the City of Beavercreek.  Brian’s strong commitment to the Beavercreek community is demonstrated by his dedicated support of many local organizations and advocacy groups.  He has served on the Beavercreek City Council as Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and council member.

After the parade, the community is invited to an evening of activities and music at Rotary Park, located at 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road.  The evening concludes at 10:00 p.m. with fireworks sponsored by UES.  Grab your blanket and join the city as the UES fireworks light up the skyline celebrating America’s birthday.  The fireworks are dependent on weather conditions.

The 4th of July Committee and the City of Beavercreek would like to thank the sponsors who support the Fourth of July Celebration in a variety of ways.  Sponsors provide generous financial and in-kind assistance that make the city’s Fourth of July celebration a memorable and always spectacular event.

Parking at Rotary Park is restricted to vendors and persons with a handicap placard.  Public parking is located at Beavercreek High School.
