The City of Beavercreek continues to encourage residents to participate in the city’s budget work sessions, scheduled for Wednesday, November 15 and Monday, November 20. Both sessions will begin at 5 p.m. and will take place in the council chambers within Beavercreek City Hall, located at 1368 Research Park Drive.
The city's budget work sessions provide an opportunity for Beavercreek residents to actively engage with Beavercreek City Council and staff, gain insights into the city's financial planning, and provide valuable input. During these sessions, council and staff will conduct a comprehensive examination of the proposed financial plan for 2024, which will include a detailed breakdown of the budget.
"The budget work sessions is a great way for residents to be involved in their community,” said Pete Landrum, city manager. “Every year, we encourage residents to attend, ask questions, and share their insights."
Once the budget has been meticulously reviewed, and any necessary adjustments have been made, city council will vote on the adoption of the budget during their regularly scheduled council meeting on Monday, December 11, 2023. The meeting will also feature the State of the City, presented by the city manager, with the presentation offering an overview of Beavercreek's accomplishments in 2023 and an outline of its goals for 2024.
The city's budget, along with its financial reports, statements, and summaries, is available on the city's website within the finance department section, which can be accessed here. Click here to view the city's 2024 proposed budget.
