[ARCHIVED] New Columbarium Coming to Mount Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek

Columbarium at Mount Zion Cemetery

The City of Beavercreek is pleased to announce the construction of a second columbarium at Mount Zion Park Cemetery, expanding the city’s offerings for dignified and meaningful final resting places.

This new columbarium will feature double niches, designed to hold the cremated remains of two individuals. These niches provide an option for couples, family members, or loved ones wishing to be memorialized together in a peaceful, thoughtfully planned setting.

Construction is expected to begin this fall, with double niche pricing ranging from $3,300 to $3,700. City of Beavercreek residents receive a $300 discount.

Both the new and existing columbarium structures are located in the Garden of Peace, a serene section of Mount Zion Park Cemetery dedicated to cremation memorials. This tranquil area also features memorial benches, inground niches, and a scattering garden, offering a variety of personalized options for remembrance.

While the new columbarium will offer double niches, there are still single niches available in the original columbarium, allowing families to choose the arrangement that best suits their needs.

Mount Zion Park Cemetery is a cherished and respectful place of rest. With the addition of this new columbarium, the city continues its commitment to providing accessible and meaningful ways to honor loved ones.
