Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Beavercreek Golf Club, 2800 New Germany-Trebein Road.

About the Board

The Beavercreek Golf Course Advisory Board operates under the City Manager. The board advises the Director of Club Operations on all issues at the course and gives recommendations to the Director of Club Operations on the clubhouse, grounds, equipment and management needs. The Advisory Board works to promote the game of golf and improve the efficiency, effectiveness and financial viability of the Beavercreek Golf Club. The board is advisory, and does not have formal authority to govern the organization and cannot issue directives that must be followed as in the case of governing or policy making boards.

The Advisory Board is comprised of individuals who bring a unique knowledge, experience, skill and interest to the management team at the golf course to ensure that needs of the public and the city are being met. The Advisory Board shall promote and be an advocate for the golf course, recommend priorities for capital improvements needed for the course and advise the Director of Club Operations on current issues. 

The purposes and duties of the Advisory Board are to:

  • Recommend and help prioritize capital improvement programs 
  • Advise the Director of Club Operations on policies and procedures 
  •  Promote the golf course 
  •  Advocate to city council for the golf course 
  • Facilitate player and user feedback to the Director of Golf Operations

Members 

The Golf Course Advisory Board consists of 5 to 7 members. Those who wish to serve on the board should complete and submit a Volunteer Application.
