About the Project

The City of Beavercreek, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is in the planning stages of improving the I-675 interchange at Grange Hall Road. A feasibility study is currently underway to evaluate potential future enhancements to the interchange. The proposed project includes the addition of new ramps to provide access to and from the west, as well as improvements to Grange Hall Road and its intersection with Colonel Glenn Highway.

It is anticipated that this project will require temporary and permanent right-of-way from properties adjacent to the project area. If right-of-way is required from your property, you will be contacted individually by the City of Beavercreek to discuss the effect on your property and explain the acquisition process. Traffic on Grange Hall Road is anticipated to be maintained with at least one lane of traffic in each direction with access to properties maintained. The City has not yet secured construction funding for the project, so the implementation schedule is not known at this time.

Environmental surveys and studies are ongoing to determine potential impacts. At this time, it is anticipated that the project will impact three unnamed stream crossings and will require waterway permits. The project will impact several acres of suitable wooded bat habitat; however, any necessary tree removal will occur between October 1 and March 31 to protect these species during their summer roosting period. A noise analysis will be conducted in future steps to determine if noise barriers are warranted.
